Golf for nothing! The apartment is in the Coto Real Duquesa
Golf complex - next to the La Duquesa golf course. The Costa del Sol
boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe and over 35 courses
are within 30 minutes drive of the apartment suitable for both the
novices and the most skilled. Courses include the world renowned
Valderrama (Ryder Cup 1977 host), Sotogrande, San Roque, La Quenta,
La Canada, Real Club De Golf and Aloha. The nearest course, The
Duquesa Golf and Country Club, is an 18 hole championship course
designed by Sir Robert Trent Jones. Golf and Country Club La
Duquesa. This
excellent course was designed by Sir Robert Trent Jones and is
settled in a spectacular landscape. With 18 entertaining holes
that will provide you with the opportunity to enjoy a round of
golf under the sun with breezes from the Mediterranean. This is
the nearest course to the apartment. Has its own pro golf shop.
In addition to golf, the complex also the following facilities...tennis courts, swimming pool,
restaurant and coffee shop, steam baths, Jacuzzi, sauna and
putting green.
Valderrama Golf Club.
6356 metres par 71 with no hole of less than championship quality
but it can be fully enjoyed by players of all handicaps. Designed by
Robert Trent Jones Senior, whom many consider the leading golf architect
of his day. Boasting a fantastic recently rebuilt clubhouse, the
restaurant is open for dinner on Thursday and Friday evenings and buffet
Lunch on Sundays.
Sotogrande Golf Club.
The first Robert Trent Jones course designed in Europe. Opened in
1964, one of Costa del Sol's finest golf clubs and best courses. There
is an absence of rough, just the numerous water hazards to concern
yourself with particularly over the last few holes. This is one of
Europe's best courses. Mature trees line the fairways and large lakes
dominate the back nine. Imported Bermuda grass ensure lush fairways and
the lack of rough add to the enjoyment of this wonderful golf course.
La Canada Golf Course.
Club de Golf La Canada is the first municipal course on the Costa
del Sol. It's located high above Guadiaro (San Roque-Cadiz) a town that
propositionally presents the highest number of amateurs in Spain. The
new nine holes have been designed by the architect Dave Thomas. The
designer of the second nine holes (previously the first nine) was Robert
Trent Jones who also designed other neighbouring golf courses such as
Valderrama Golf Club and Real Club de Golf Sotogrande.
Club San Roque.
Located between Jerez and Marbella, almost at the tip of the Iberian
peninsula, lies one of Europe's most secluded and exclusive golfing
